Covid-19 Updates 

2022 Season in Rocky Mountain National Park

As we begin our first season of packrafting rentals in the greater Rocky Mountain National Park area, we are optimistic about the COVID-19 outlook and have crafted our policies around keeping our participants safe. We strongly recommend that all eligible participants receive a COVID-19 vaccine prior to renting our equipment. Please read the following information carefully.

COVID-19 Protocols

We require that all participants display no COVID-19 symptoms and have no known exposure to anyone with COVID-19 thirty days (30) or less prior to the rental equipment pick up date. We may screen participants for COVID-19 symptoms at pick up, and ask participants to adhere to social distancing, mask wearing, and frequent hand washing practices for thirty days (30) prior to the rental pick up date. If you are unwilling to follow these requirements, we would be happy to schedule your rental in the future.

If you are exposed to Covid-19 prior to your rental:

If you are exposed thirty days (30) or less prior to your rental pick up date, you are not eligible to participate in the rental and will be offered a credit toward a future rental in equal amount to your payment, but we cannot refund the payment.

If you develop Covid-19 symptoms or have a positive result prior to your rental:

If you develop COVID-19 symptoms or have a positive result thirty days (30) or less prior to your rental pick up date, you are not eligible to participate and will be offered a credit toward a future rental in equal amount to your payment, but we cannot refund the payment.

Before Your Rental:

In addition to the rental protocols above, we have implemented additional pre-rental protocols on our end, including:

• Thoroughly sanitizing rental equipment between every use, following strict cleaning requirements,
• And requiring our staff continue to practice social distancing and use of a facemark in all public spaces.

During Your Rental:

If you develop COVID-19 symptoms during your rental, we will:

• Ask that if you’re in the backcountry, you quickly and safely return to a trailhead, ending your rental,
• And ask that you immediately plan to return your rental equipment for proper cleaning.

Participants will not receive refunds for a rental that must end early due to participant health concerns. We recommend purchasing trip insurance to help in the event of a trip interruption.
